My Kahiko

I’m not Hawaiian, so I probably don’t have the right to compose a Kahiko, but I can talk about Kahiko.
I asked Neka if there was a Hawaiian kind of Haka, which is the Maori chant/dance of warriors, and he said, yeah, it’s called, “Kahiko”.

So, I looked it up and apparently it’s really cool. Apparently I really like it.
APPARENTLY I’m researching it thoroughly for use in the score of Relapse. Chanting, stick-pounding… Maybe some strings underneath… Some timpani to strengthen the beat…
Apparently, these are some of my favorite films:

Blade Runner (Honestly, I don’t care which version. Call me shallow.)
The Seventh Seal
Gladiator
Edward Scissorhands
Fellowship of the Ring
Saving Private Ryan
What Dreams May Come
Willow (I know your objections and I don’t care)
Henry V (Branagh)
DEFINITELY the Disney foxes Robin Hood
DEFINITELY NOT 400 Blows. That kid is annoying.
