The Filmmakers

We are a group of film school graduates from the University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii. The curriculum of the new School of Applied Filmmaking is to make a low budget independent feature under the guidance of Hollywood professionals. This film is entitled Relapse, a crime thriller with a point. We are committed to honestly and provokingly telling this important story to raise awareness and inspire action.

Because movies are so experiential, we want people to get much more involved with the film than just seeing a final product. We want them to experience the making of it along with us. The goal of this blog is to be the ultimate behind the scenes look at filmmaking, but live! Won’t you join us on this filmmaking journey?

Check back often for postings, photos, interviews, videos, mobile updates, contests, and more!

  1. My husband and I were in Kona today and happened to catch some of the filming of this movie. What a wonderful way of getting a loud message out! This hits close to home for me, as I have a family member that he too has been fighting a drug addiction for many years. God bless
